This is a lovely shoe rack. Since I will be using mine to store shoes on the front porch so people can slip into their slippers before entering, I coated it with Flexseal Clear for a little extra protection prior to assembly. Very happy with this product!.

Our shoes seem to collect at the entrance of our door, it is perfect for us. All of our dog leashes and collars fit in the drawer and makes it convenient. I don't suggest sitting on it, but I think a child could easily and safely sit on and put shoes on :-).

Nice design and sturdy enough to sit on (I weight 155) but the item came with enough scuffs and scratches that it looked worn.

I’m tired of tripping over shoes in the entry. This fits perfectly with the dimensions in this area and as a bonus holds dog leashes in the bench. Not super heavy duty, but it gets the job done!

I was skeptical when I unpacked it, but it went together well enough (a little fiddly), and the finished product turned out well. It works well and looks good. There enough room under the seat, and (tight-ish) space for six pair of shoes and a pair of mid-high boots. I added a small gas strut hinge - which works great - but it requires a bit of leverage to close. Because it's a bit light, it moved around after that. I bought some round rubber pads for the feet and it took care of the problem. Now, all good, and it's holding up really well. Happy with the purchase. BTW, "Thickness"? Not sure how to rate that... If that refers to the rigidness of the bamboo board material, it's a 5.

This arrived quickly. My husband and son assembled it and it was fairly quick and easy. Maybe a minor issue with alignment of peg/screw holes but nothing major. I love the color (although I would have preferred a gray option), and the quality is very nice. The lift-top storage, plus the surface top, are great additions and a plus to most shoe storage/racks that offer only racks for shoes. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this item.

Put it together in less than 10 min. The tools and instructions are in the cabinet. Two small things that would have made this absolutely perfect was if 1) it had a cushion of some kind on the top for the bench seat and 2) some kind of cover or paint to have the nail/screw heads match the shelf color. This looks like real wood and not bamboo and the color is beautiful. Love that there one larger shelf to put boots on. I keep this in my closet to organize my nicer shoes.
