Functional but not a great-looking piece. Instructions are complete, service is good too.

OK, the rack is fine for what is is. It fit the space intended and matched our woody decor. If you buy this please take note of my findings on assembly.
1. Front of instructions say you will need a hammer, a Philips screw driver, and a flat blade screw driver. You don't need any of those things. Just the supplied hex wrench.
2. When assembling place the legs with the lapped (cut) side out. The instructions and pictures don't show this.
3. If like me you decided to use a power tool, be careful. The supplied hardware is incredible cheap (soft). You will cam out if over torqued.
4. The instructions say you don't need polish or oil. I must disagree. The wood was very dry and slightly scratched. I put some polish (Orange Glow) on and it soaked it right up. Looks fine now.

I love this bench. I was looking for a bench to put by my treadmill to put a few weights and resistance bands on. This bench works really great. It went together really easy. It looks really nice.

I love this little bench I have outside the door from my garage to the house where I can sit down to put on winter shoes and boots. The instructions left a lot to be desired though because there was no clear description of where slightly different screws were to be placed. Accordingly I guessed wrong and had to dissemble and reassemble part way through. Once together it was obvious what screws went where but it wasn’t apparent to me with all the pieces and screws laying out in my garage. Still a minor inconvenience. I just don’t think clear instructions are too much to ask for.

Received my shoe rack bench and it is perfect. Fits in my master closet and matches my chest of drawers. I have little bins already that fit 3 to a shelf so put my bedroom slippers in the bins as well as socks. Easy to assemble and I love it. I sit on it to put my socks on and it is very sturdy.
