Does the wood need to be treated before adding soil, to keep from rotting the wood? Does it need a liner.? Also there is a large gap between the bottom pieces of the planter how much of a gap should there be or should the bottom be tight together?
-
No need for treatment, without inner village. The gaps are normal.

raised planters say made from firwood, i am not sure what this is. Is it rot resistant or is it treated ? if it is treated is it safe for vegetables or what shoud i use to treat italso can you put wheels on it and does it come with a liner? thank you
-
Fir wood is untreated, natural, with no holes at the bottom. It's not suitable for wheel mounting, without inner village.
