14000 BTU(Ashrae) Portable Air Conditioner with APP and WiFi Control

The unit works great the only problem i have faced is that the continuous drain would not drain. The unit would throw a code and stop running. To resolve this issue i lifted the unít onto a stand and used the manual drain into a condensate pump, inorder to pump the water out the window. Unit will work continuously for hours on end without having to dump out water from a bucket. I am also going to see about mounting the condensate pump to the back of the unit. I will add pictures of the final installation soon.

I got the 14,000 btu unit to cool my entire apartment which is about 750 square feet. It works like a champ. My only complaint is that the window kit does not have any kind of screen or vent flaps so rain/birds can get into the vent. I bent the hose so that the rain can’t get all the way in to the unit but it does not help with birds.

I bought a different brand before this one and it broke pretty quick. This one has been amazing so far this summer and we are very very happy with it!

I actually chose this particular air conditioning unit because it also has a heat feature. The area I am using is a room that was built above the garage of my home and the heat doesn't reach it well. It has small windows so a portable ac was needed. This unit was simple to install. I had to cut the window piece to make it fit and just used a hair dryer to heat the plastic then cut with a utility knife for a nice clean cut. It connects to the wifi and it was a fast and simple process. It is packed full of features however my favorite one is just the fact that it has an LCD on the front just shows the temp of the room even when the unit is powered off. I am using it in a 18' x 15' area that also has an open stair way leading to it and it cools the whole area quickly an keeps it cool. I would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a portable unit.
