Space saver air conditioner
03/30/2023I bought this ac cause it fit my budget at first. It turns out perfect for the size . It's such a space saver fits right in the corner. The exhaust hose could fit your window vertically or horizontally. The wheels help moving around much easier. It was a great buy. Recommended.

Works well for our master bedroom
03/09/2023You wouldn't know it, but this thing is heavier than it looks. It actually took me by surprise, but with a 10,000 BTU output, that should perhaps have been expected. After reading the reviews for this AC, my brother and I chipped in to buy this for our vacation home whose master bedroom gets about 10F hotter than the below floor. The single-pane windows will be replaced at some point and so we did not want to have a window AC unit installed. Furthermore, we also wanted one that could be moved around between the 3 bedrooms and living room. A portable one like this would or should satisfy all those requirements. PROS - Cooled VERY fast - Simple installation - Relatively easy to move around the house - Timer function - Less expensive than name brands CONS - Heavy - No smart functionality for remote control over the Internet (so we could shut it off in case our departed guests left it running) The AC worked without utilizing the air intake through the window, but it cools a lot faster with fresh, cooler air coming from the outside. A window kit was included. We did not test or use the dehumidifier function although an air conditioner by its very nature removes warmth AND moisture from the air. Overall, we were happy with this unit.

just what I needed！
03/01/2023this unit was super easy to set up，easy and convenient installation. It‘s made my bedroom nice and cold ， but it's still winter and I'm going to get some ready to use it in summer ，and it will keep my summer out of the heat. I‘ll give you feedback .

Easy to set up and easy to use
04/28/2024This portable unit is so much easier to move around and installation was seamless. It can be controlled via remote and display screen which makes it easy to turn on/off. Standard noise, but very livable. High performance and highly recommended.

- Q:How can I change between degrees of Fahrenheit and Celsius on the unit (not from the remote control)?A:You may try switching the temperature unit directly on the control panel by pressing and holding the “+” and “–” buttons at the same time, or by pressing and holding the MODE button for a few seconds.
Costway representative - Q:Does it HAVE to be connected to a window? Can I have it in the middle of the room with no connection to a window?A:Yes, it has to be attached to the window.

Costway representative - Q:Model FP10123US-WH It runs satisfactory at night, but during the day it won't operate. I can hear the compressor start up, begin cooling, but shuts down after about a minute with a loud & strange vibration.
