I bought this next to a patio set from Costway. Instructions weren't fantastic; it took me 5 tries to assemble the top part where the umbrella attaches to the bar but once I got it together I was really glad I bought it - it pulls my patio together! I wasn't sure if the lights would be good for anything since they seem sort of weak but once it's dark they do add night ambiance.

My friend and I put the umbrella and pole together and have a sold base. When we try and cantilever it we cannot get the handle to go down all the way. Is that on purpose?
