10000/12000 BTU(Ashrae) Window Air Conditioner with Handy Remote

Very pricey but worth the money when you don’t have to hear the unit running all day. Everyone asks me what is that for since they do not hear it. Cools off 2 open spaces. Bonus is you still have your window view. Installation was easier than expected. On a budget so I am saving up for another for bedroom.

The air conditioner works great! The unit cools my medium-sized bedroom very quickly. Item arrived ahead of schedule. Easy assembly and installation. it came in perfect shape looks good is quiet when runs. It comes with a remote and gives us different settings to adjust the tempature. Everything as described. No complaints.

This saddle AC is a wonderful answer to the window AC without using the use of the window. It's much quieter than the typical window AC and the 1200 BTU is powerful enough for three rooms, though I tend to use it for only two. I gave 4 stars because I had hoped to use it more for it's de-humidification capabilities, but it doesn't have any way to select for percentage of humidity wanted. In dry mode it seems to only dehumidify to around 65 to 70 percent and then it stops. I was hoping for more 50 to 60%. Only if I have the AC running does it go down to around 55 to 60%. The other reason I gave it four stars is that there is a drain on the inside portion of the AC saddle. One has to drain it every so often. I can't understand why they didn't make the drain go on the outside portion so that one didn't have to think about draining water. If I were to buy another one, I'd look to see if there was a brand with the drain going to the outside first before buying this one again.
