Electric Mica Space Portable Heater with Adjustable Thermostat

This type of heat goes right through you, and fast!. We moved from a house with a boiler system and radiators, and this is better. I though 2 would be needed - one did the job with absolutely NO problem! I spent 3 years in my condo freezing with forced air heating I paid $13,000 for, and this unit beats it hands down without hesitation. The quality of the unit is irrelevant, really just panels with a wire running though it. This unit is very light, and you can pick it up with your pinky. These are amazing!

I love infrared heaters as they warm you from the inside which is far more effective. my propane heater has been struggling to keep up with the cold. Plus the price for propane is quite high. This little mica heater makes a huge difference and heats a 1200sqft house well. I just use the propane now to take the chill out of the air as needed. Mica is one of the better materials for making a heater with for IR. Plus IR is used in medical therapeutic treatments. So that is a bonus. Just make sure to drink more water.

This is my 3rd mica thermic convection heater. I discovered it is better then the other types. The prices on Costway is reasonable. I love the look of it too. And best of all I can leave it on 24 hours.

Like any new heater there will be a smell when first turned on. Find a large open space like a garage. Set it on high for a few hours to work out the new order. After that, heater works fine, quiet.

I found it to be a WELL MADE product that is energy efficient and safe to the touch when in use. It is NOT a blow torch.....but rather a mild, gentle warming.....
