5/10 Gal 22/38 L Water Distiller for DIY Whisky

For the price this is a pretty decent \"rig\" especially for beginners. The instructions on the other hand leaves alot of guessing. I think I managed to figure everything out. This still is fairly modular IMO. It can be set up in several different ways depending on your space and preference. The seal on the thumper pot is extremely difficult to get just right and makes it virtually impossible to add any solids to help flavor your distillation. This still seems to be ideal for indoor brewing using a \"hot plate\", but I\'m sure it will work outside with a propane burner or even over an open flame fire. This is my first still and I am mostly pleased with it. There are others that are extremely similar in size and set up but at the time this was the least expensive option.

I love my new still I replaced the flex lines with water lines so that I can put the worm and thumper where I want it. Worm is a little small make sure your pump is adequate I got the little 80gph pump it was not enough. so I ordered a bigger pump so that my worm water does not get too hot. Overall I am loving this little still. I have just finished my 6th run with it. very pleased.

I have used this to make distilled "Water" a few times and it has worked like it should, getting the water pump and fittings adjusted just right does take some time but once you get it the system works great.

Quality was just high enough for the price. A good beginner unit.

I'm wanting to use as barter during financial collapse. Calm down.
