Decorative buttons came loose on day one after my four year old sat on the stool.

Installation was relatively easy. You will need a flat head screwdriver (not included). The finish seemed a little rough as there were wood shavings left on the parts. The assembled product however was comfortable and sturdy.

These benches are a wonderful purchase for the price. The size is great for our high counter and they look more costly than they are. However, I had to leave them in the garage for a week to rid them of their awful smell. My entire house reeked of like wet paint or something similar prior to airing them out. The smell did eventually go away so I am happy we kept them.

These look great and were very easy to assemble. Would have been nice if they included a Philips head screwdriver but they did include the Allen wrench. They are comfortable and solid and fit nicely in my bar area.
