Is there really a problem with the screws?
10/10/2025Let's talk about the screws. I was hesitant to buy this chair because of all the reviews saying the screws weren't the right size, didn't line up properly, and so on. I took a gamble and bought it, thinking I could handle it. If you read the instructions carefully, they say to tighten the screws to 70%. This step makes assembling the chair much easier. It's also much easier with two people. And so, I finally screwed the backrest and the back of the armrest together. Finally, I screwed it in. I drove the screw into the hole, but no matter how hard I tried, it wouldn't tighten. I was worried about damaging the inside of the backrest, so I decided to leave it alone and move on to the other holes. I continued assembling the chair, and once everything was in place, I tightened the screw to 100% (well, maybe 98%; screws should never be tightened that tight). Then, I went back to the screw that had worried me earlier, and it was a breeze! It screwed in perfectly. Aligning the holes can be tricky, but like I said, it's much easier with a second person. If you decide to assemble it alone, patience is key. I can't help but wonder how many times this chair has been returned because people couldn't align the holes correctly, or couldn't tighten the screws, then got frustrated and gave up. Overall, it's definitely worth a try because it's super comfortable! The nuts aren't the best, but if you have a small hammer, you can tighten them all up.
very comfortable chair.
10/05/2025My installer came and installed the chair, and it went very smoothly. It has been working great and is the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. The vibrations inside the chair are very good for my back. I would definitely buy this again.
Cute little chair
10/02/2025I bought this chair for coffee and knitting. It's very comfortable. As others have mentioned, I'd guess someone between 100 and 200 pounds would be comfortable in this chair. It's not sturdy enough for roughhousing, but it's fine for relaxing. It took me less than an hour to assemble. As far as I know, the back bar is useless. It doesn't fit properly, is too loose, and keeps falling off. The chair looks just like the picture and works perfectly for my purposes. It probably won't last many years, but for me, it's worth the money.
Beautiful chair.
09/26/2025Good price. Very quiet. Wish they would make armrest covers.
Highly recommended
09/24/2025My husband ordered this chair for me while I was in the hospital for major back surgery, and I'm so glad he did. I'm 5'4" and 190 lbs. This chair is incredibly comfortable. I've been using it since February, sleeping in it for two weeks after surgery, and now use it daily as a recliner alongside the rest of my living room furniture. It still looks brand new, with the same support and comfort as it did on day one. My dog recently chewed through two electrical cords. I contacted this company, and they went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend them. I know I'll be buying from them again.
