I was a bit skeptical buying this since there were not any reviews at the time. I bought two desks to be mirrored side by side for me and my fiancee. They are exactly as described, pictured, and incredibly sturdy. The wood feels hefty and not cheap, and the shelves and actual desk portion are very spacious. I’d highly recommend these to anyone!

This desk is sturdy & looks great. I love that there are options to put it together in different directions. The instructions were easy to follow! Great product for an affordable price!

The only issue I have is that the top of the desk has some texture, so if you’re writing on the surface it might make your penmanship bumpy. Other than that, the desk is the perfect use of my space and will serve me so well as a student! Highly recommend, as this is exactly what the images show.

I bought this L-desk to a replace another "straight" Costway desk. The old desk worked well and was sturdy, but I needed more space for a second monitor. I'm sorry to say that the new L-desk is inferior in almost every way. The old desk's legs and supports were a solid 1" thick; the new desk is much flimsier with 1/2" thick legs and supports. After setting it up with just one monitor, there was an obvious bowing in the middle of the main surface and the non-shelf legs were already skewing outwards towards the bottom from not being able to support the weight. The pictures on the product listing area misleading: it clearly shows the black support bar under main desk being right underneath the top's edge, when in reality the supports underneath are about two inches in from the desk's edges, so both the front and back edges of the main surface tip downward and aren't sturdy if you put any sort of pressure on them. Pairing the two desk surfaces together was a nightmare: they're connected by two screws there but it's impossible to get both screws tightened and have the surfaces flush. Meaning, rather than a seamless transition between the two surfaces, one surfaces is always lower than the other. Lastly, even with the adjustable legs, the main desk surface was always tilted forward: it was impossible to level it. STAY AWAY from this desk. It's not worth it and not representative of other Costway items I've bought.
