High enough off the floor providing extra storage underneath. The velvet is delicately soft. This turned out perfect for us and I’m very happy with my purchase.

The bed is very sturdy with high quality parts that do require assembly. It took me about an hour and a half to put everything together, but for me, it was so worth it! I absolutely love the way that the velvet looks and feels!
