We bought this for our back deck As It Gets extremely hot in the Summer time. Nobody can walk on it without shoes on and my dog Libby absolutely cannot come out on the deck. I usually try to set her up a bed in the Shaded area that is almost against the house but she doesn't want to be up near the house when we are at the back of the deck by the pool. So we bought her this so that she could be closer to us and still have shade. She loved this bed from the first time we put it out on the deck. We were trying to stain the deck and we couldn't get her out of it so that we could stain the part where the bed was originally placed when we put it together. I would recommend this for anybody that needed a shaded bed for their dog.

Got this for my little man as the sun is always so bright in the AM when he likes to chill outside. He took to it immediately and it’s pleasant to look at, sturdy & easy to put together as well!

Love the design of this dog cabana! It's nice that it's elevated, and that the white mattress cover stays cool on hot days. Both my ~12lbs dog fit in it together though they prefer just one at a time. Be sure to note that the width of the lower area/mattress is 32" not 38" so keep that in mind before purchasing. I think it would be great for any small or medium sized dogs. Only cons were assembly was a little difficult and more time consuming than it seemed like it should be, and the mattress needed airing out for a few days. But once assembled I think it's been my favorite amazon purchase of the year. Overall this is a perfect sturdy little shade cabana!
