Good for winters
02/27/2022I got this for my screen porch. It came in a compact box with all the related parts including a cylinder. Instructions are given to assemble. It took sometime for me to complete the assembly but was not too difficult. Material of the base is pretty heavy and steel look in top gives a stylish look to it.

Great Outdoor Heater
01/13/2022Outdoor heaters and fire pits are a must if one has to enjoy outdoors during winters. This is my first propane heater. We have a fire pit but felt the need of propane heater for the times when we need to get warm real quick and when we don't feel like spending time lighting a fire pit.

- Q:We have trex decking, columns and ceiling on our covered deck. Are these suitable and if so, what is the clearance that is needed to not affect the materials?A:This heater is red hot during use and can ignite flammables too close to the burner. Keep flammables at least 3 feet from sides & 2 feet from top. Keep gasoline and other flammable liquids and vapors well away from heater..

It worked once briefly and it won’t turn on again.A:Please pay attention when igniting, after connecting the gas pipe, press the knob, turn it 90 degrees, do not let go, wait for 5-10 seconds, let the gas come up, press the ignition button again, wait for the flame to ignite, continue to burn for 10-20 seconds, stable let go. If it doesn't work, please try it with a lighter.

As for the ignition, you need to turn the knob for 1 minute, wait for the propane gas to come up from the bottom, fill the tube and the burner. Then you can press the igniter to ignite, hold for 20-30 seconds, wait for the fire to ignite, don’t let it go, wait 10 seconds, after the burner is fully heated,just turn the switch to adjust to the appropriate heat..

I did the same process several times until I used a long lighter to light the burner.A:It seems that you did not spin the knob on gas cylinder, please spin the knob to max and it also need to spin the knob on burner to horizontal level. Here is the steps on how to operate the item. We need to spin the knod on burner to horizontal level first, then press it for about 60-90 seconds to relase the air in hose. Then press the Igniter, if there is spark, we need to wait for 10 seconds to let the thermocouple fully heated, finally unpress the knob, then turn it to max 1. 2. 3. .
