    We bought a 10’ cantilever costway umbrella but it did it come with a base. Our pole diameter is 2.5”. Please advise which base I can buy for stability.
    A:
    For a 10 ft cantilever umbrella, we recommend using a heavy-duty base of at least 150 lbs for basic stability, with 180–220 lbs being ideal for everyday use and better wind resistance. In windy areas, 220+ lbs is safer. A fillable 4-piece base filled with sand (or sand and water) will provide the most secure support.

    It is designed to fit a 1.9” diameter pole. Therefore, it will not support a pole with a 1.5” diameter.
