This is a good dryer especially if you have a Twin tub washer and spin dryer. It's meant to dry clothes that have already been wrung or spun so if you find that your load is taking forever to dry its likely because you loaded it in too wet. It's not very loud at all and doesn't make my apartment humid or too hot when I run it. I find that it's very low heat even on the highest setting it's definitely only meant to be used if you already have a spin dryer. The video with the TV in the background is just to give an idea of how the sound is.
