02/22/2025So I've had this for more than a year now and the only damage it sustained is the end fraying. Still functions just the way we got it. The box was a little heavy so be careful. Installing this also requires two people of course to make things a little easier. For the amount I paid I'd say yes get this, it's good value for what you get and will last and still look good aside from the fraying ends.

For Concrete Walls
10/11/2023I did not read that this is meant to be bolted to cinder blocks or concrete walls. I was hoping to put it into wood but that didn't work out. It does seem to be pretty solid and long-lasting. It will last forever as long as it is in its box.

12/25/2022Would be nice to include hardware to install on a wood frame building. Also, just drilling and threading both end caps would permit the user to put the cranking system on either end.

- Q:Can the extension be shortened? Instead of 6.5’ can i only use 4 ft?A:This product has a fixed size and cannot be adjusted. Only the height of the arm can be adjusted.
