    I had emptied out a bedroom to be my new home office and I was staring at a blank wall while at work so, it definitely needed things to be there. I'm very happy with the shelf although I had to have a friend come and help me assemble it - you really need somebody holding it steady while attaching shelves because of the tension of the angle of the legs.
