Best umbrella base ever
10/25/2023It is well made, super stable and easy to use. Strong winds will not tip my large umbrella, but I still crank it down to protect it. I highly recommend this umbrella base.

Does the job as advertised.
08/10/2023I filled mine with very small gravel rocks and it supports a really large 10 foot over hang umbrella with no problem even in mild to moderately high winds. I'm very pleased.

07/08/2023Good quality base. We used the sand method to fill it to give extra weight for our 10 foot cantilever umbrella and it hasn't moved an inch. As other reviews state, it is kind of a pain to fill up with the sand but we figured out a shortcut to speed it up. Cut off the bottom of a plastic milk jug and use it's spout over the hole to slowly pour in the sand and it goes a lot faster with less mess. Also, this base is pretty big so measure your space first.
