Very strong
10/23/2024I bought one and put it in our office parking lot. It is secured to the handrail with a 4 foot cable and a lock so it doesn't get lost at night. I recommend it. The employees love it.
Durable!

Great Value Picnic Table
06/15/2020Given the frame price and lumber budget, you can definitely get a great picnic table for cheap. I ended up choosing an 8-foot 2x10-inch table for less than $45 with an extra pint of stain. The instructions are a little confusing until you realize it has instructions for each size and width of lumber choice, randomly placed on the page. They are pretty clear once you figure out where to find them, though. All the screws and bolts are provided, so you don't have to worry about picking them out or figuring out which size to buy. I ended up choosing an 8-foot table, and I did feel a little flex when sitting in the middle of the 2x10-inch boards, but it wasn't too bad, maybe with a larger adult sitting closer to the ends and the kids in the middle? I have to say, the 8-foot table is large enough to fit all the family members and keep them secure. If you remove the seat panel and unbolt the stabilizing arms, the legs actually fold up underneath the table for easy storage. It's not too heavy, but it might take two people to carry it very far. I can lift one end easily and move it around when mowing, but moving it from one side of the yard to the other is a hassle. Overall, it seems pretty durable and the wood retreats about once a year so it should last for many years. This frame is perfect for tables as small as 4 feet and as large as 8 feet, depending on your needs, and you can choose the wood you want and how you want it stained/painted.
