Great product! Thick filters = more effective cooling!
06/30/2025This fan is alot more powerful than I thought it was! The "filter" or water pad is very thick too allowing for much more evaporation and cooling than those cheaper products that have less thick filters. I found that for evaporative cooling to work the filter must be thick to have more of a cooling effect.

08/28/2022It solves my problem. When the weather is too hot and dry, my nose gets heavy nasal congestion. The fan and air conditioner help the air cooler but dryer. I try to buy the air evaporative cooler, it is effective because it makes air more humidty. I feel like the wind from the river. My nasal congestion gets better. I'm pleasure with my purchase.

- Q:The remote control doesn’t open and I can’t seem to find a batteryA:The remote control does not come with a battery included, so you will need to purchase a button battery separately.
Costway representative - Q:I have my cooler set to cooling but then the cooling function turns off after running a little bit and then just runs in fan function. Will it turn back to cooling or do I have to keep checking it and turn it back on?A:When the cooling function of your unit turns off, it may be due to the ambient temperature being too low or the set temperature being too high. In such cases, the compressor will stop, and the unit will switch to fan mode. Unfortunately, it will not automatically revert back to cooling mode until the conditions allow it to do so. You may need to manually switch it back to cooling mode if it does not resume automatically after a while.
Costway representative - Q:Does the pump stay inside the tank with water in it? I bought an open box to find out there is no manual.A:You need to fill it with water yourself.

Does the fan automatically switch off the cooling mode if the water level is low?A:This actually has little to do with how much water is used. The main thing is that the ice crystal box will slowly return to normal temperature from the frozen state, and the wind blown out will not be cold. In addition, the machine will shut down if the water level is lower than the minimum.
