Another great Chinese product.
06/12/2025The solar plant out front is always on. I've seen it spike to 128 watts. But it's only 43 watts when it's on. The 3 cubic foot refrigerator is running fine. The only way I know it's running is by reaching in the back to charge the compressor.

06/08/2025This fridge/freezer combo has been great so far. I've only had it a few months but it has been working great. One great feature is that it can easily switch between refrigeration and freezing. Once unboxed and installed, it was able to reach freezing temperatures very quickly even after experiencing 90 degree heat in the transport truck. Definitely measure it, the machine is tall but based on the space we wanted to put it in, it fit right in with 1/2 inch of space left. The price is similar or cheaper than some other brands we looked at. The 17 cubic feet of storage space is not bad. We originally only had the storage space of a regular fridge but it wasn't enough and it allowed us to put items on different shelves instead of burying them. Can you bury things? Yes, but it's harder in a tall freezer than a chest freezer. You have to fill it up pretty full. As for the noise when it's running, it has a slight low-pitched hum but it's not audible unless you're standing right next to the machine. In addition, the machine is well sealed and very sturdy.

- Q:We purchased a Costway Stkol EP23796 Freezer. Per the manual on page 9 there is a defrost drain and it says to slide it outward. However, there is no picture showing the location or how to open it. I can't find it. Please explain how to locate this. Thank you
