06/15/2022Love these in our garden area. They'd be even better on a solid surface. Ours are on top of pea gravel, and they shift, but we still like them a lot! Super easy to put together. They do fade a bit in the sun, but any wood that isn't stained will fade. The great pard, IMO, is that when winter comes, we can take them up in super short order and store them in the basement. The instructions say you can oil them too, if leaving outside. We might do that just to condition the wood, but will probably still store them inside for longevity. Buy the box of 27 tiles ("bulk")....it is cheaper & after you try them, you'll want to double the area... that's what happened to us

- Q:Are these waterproof?A:It is waterproof, but it is not recommended to put it in the open air, because this product is made of acacia wood. If it is exposed to the sun and rain for a long time, the surface protective film will gradually fade and fade, so this kind of product needs regular maintenance and application of paraffin oil.
Costway representative - Q:When I was done putting the tiles together, some of the black pieces that hook them together are sticking out and it looks bad, what am I missing? Was there supposed to be different edging pieces to it that doesn't have the hook circles?

Can you put this over existing tiles?A:It is not recommended to put it in the open air, because wood products may crack and fade easily if they are often caught in the rain.You can use outdoor wax oil and you can put it over existing tiles.
