- Q:how to wireA:To wire the item, you need to connect the wires as follows: connect wire A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, and A6 to point A. Then, connect wire B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, and B6 to point B. Please ensure that you do not connect any wire from A to any wire from B to avoid any issues.
Costway representative - Q:If we go from 13 ft line to 25 ft line how much more freon do we need to add?A:When extending the line set from 13 feet to 25 feet for an 18,000 BTU unit, it is generally recommended to add refrigerant. Specifically, you will need to add extra refrigerant for the additional length of the line set. For every meter of extension, approximately 30 grams of refrigerant is required. Therefore, you will need to calculate the total length increase in meters and multiply by 30 grams to determine the total amount of refrigerant to add.
