10/03/2025Absolute garbage. It runs our 32 refrigerant, which is absolutely impossible to either buy or get a technician to work on.;With the money I’ve spent on trying to get the refrigerant for this unit, it would’ve been cheaper to throw this thing in the garbage and buy a complete new one.;Additionally, the brand name on the one I got is Cost Way, so just some random unit that was substituted for the one I actually ordered.;Unfortunately for me, I bought it during prime days and stored it for four months before I installed it so I’m stuck with it.

- Q:I need to buy just the indoor unit and remote
- Q:How many ft of line does the unit come charged forA:The unit comes pre-charged for a line length of up to 13 feet. If you need to extend the line beyond this length, you will need to add additional refrigerant accordingly.
Costway representative - Q:Can I order a replacement line set for this unit. Mine got a bad kink in it during install and needs to be replaced. The 1/2” set I ordered online doesn’t fit.
- Q:What is the lowest temperature the heating works from? Most mini-splitters work from -15 C, which is not good enough for areas with longer, colder weather. Most of your products do not reveal, which is, i assume, intentionally hiding, but this info is crucial for us. Please show this info.A:The lowest outdoor temperature at which the heating function of the mini-split model operates effectively is -7°C (19.4°F). Below this temperature, the heating performance may decrease or the unit may stop functioning properly in heating mode.
