03/26/2025I got this Umbrella Base with Wheels to keep my large umbrella stable. My umbrella could spin and a lot of bases could not fit. The built-in wheels make it surprisingly easy to move around, which is a huge plus. We had a strong wind the other days and it holds my offset umbrella securely. The material feels durable and well-made.

Great rolling solution!
11/08/2023Got this to replace my Purple Leaf base for the Purple Leaf 8x8 patio umbrella, without wheels it was very impractical as the sun shifts throughout the day! It was very easy to move my Purple Leaf umbrella from its base - just 4 screws - and it fit perfectly into this new base. I had problem with one screw hole but just hammered in the screw for stability. Filling the base with sand was the same tedious process as with my original base. Unlike some other review mentioned, even when filled with 50 lb of sand, I am able to roll the base with umbrella pretty easily and smoothly. So glad I found this solution to make my umbrella provide shade all day long!

06/03/2023This umbrella stand is amazing! We only filled it with water. It is in a slight alcove, but the 10 mile an hour winds have been no problem at all. Absolutely no movement for our giant 10 x 10 square cantilever umbrella.

- Q:Does the included cross base make the base effectively universal? For example, if I buy a cantilever umbrella with 15cm (5.91") between base screws, but attach the cross base that comes with your (ie. this) product instead, will that allow me to use this base since the screw holes in the cross base will now be 4.4" apart?A:The included cross base is not universal. This umbrella base is designed to fit umbrellas with a mounting hole distance of approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches). We do not recommend using it with umbrellas that have different screw spacing.
Costway representative - Q:Does this base come with the mounting base plate and mounting pole?A:The base does not include a mounting plate or mounting pole. It is designed specifically for cantilever umbrellas and does not come with these additional components.
