Measure the area to be installed
06/29/2025Returned it, it didn't fit in this area. Looks like a solid product, easy to assemble. Be sure to measure the area you need to install it in, including the space inside the tub.
Strong support
06/24/2025This product was very useful after my vein surgery. For a whole week, I couldn't expose my legs to hot water, such as in the shower or when standing. So this chair was the best solution. It's very lightweight. Easy to install. Followed the instructions and installed it in about 5 minutes. Stable and non-slip. It also has armrests on both sides. Highly recommended. If you are looking for a shower seat
A great help during surgery recovery
06/20/2025The legs are slightly shorter so that it sits securely when in the tub. The non-slip feet don't slide around, it feels stable to sit on, and I can get in and out quickly. The grab bars can be removed if you don't need them. The holes in the top are large enough to let some water through without affecting the stability of the seat. It's a little frustrating that you can't tuck a shower curtain in like you can with a normal shower, but it's not the end of the world. If you have a handheld shower head, it will work well with this bench. I really appreciated this bench after knee surgery. I was able to sit down and slide into the shower, and we also adjusted the height of the bench so that I could rest my legs against the tub wall while I was sitting there taking a shower. This helped me learn to shower independently much faster. I'm also on the larger side, and this bench is the right size and sturdiness. I don't feel like it will collapse under me or anything.
This chair does what it was supposed to do!
06/13/2025The first time I used this chair, the floor and I got really clean
Easy-to-operate controls
06/13/2025First, how to use it without flooding the bathroom floor, this only applies to tubs/showers with curtain closures. The inner liner needs to have holes cut in it to be able to cover the sliding mechanism of the chair. If cut carefully, very little water should escape. The outer curtain can remain and simply drape over the chair, or be rolled up to keep the chair elevated when in use. It's a hassle whichever way you look at it, but it's better than having to clean the floor after every use. For solid sliding doors, the only way to do this is to install a curtain closure inside the sliding door. Now onto the review. I really like this sliding chair. It is fully adjustable so it can be leveled when used in a tub/shower that is higher than the adjacent floor. The sliding mechanism controls are located on the front of the chair and are fixed, while the swivel mechanism control handles swivel with the chair so that it is always to the right of the user. The chair has four "positive" stops. Both controls are easy to operate. I was very impressed with this chair and it was very different from other sliding chairs I have seen, it glides smoothly while supporting the full weight of the user. I weigh 235 pounds and the chair glides even with my full weight on it. The instruction manual that comes with the chair is well illustrated and easy to understand. Recommended.
