For a very long time , I threw beer bottles, and soda cans to recycle. Because it gets complicated to separate regular bottles, cobble boxes for recycling. Now the bottle deposit fee has increased to $.10 each in my state. The amount of bottle I throw away could've gotten worse up to $10 each month. Without adding an extra recycle bin to the kitchen. Now I can’t just throw the beer bottles and a soda can to the little container under the garbage bin. Also, I love seafood. Or the waste starts smelling within two days. Either I have to throw these away separately, or throw the garbage right away. With this little bin inside the garbage bin, I can just bag the seafood waste into a small bag and leave it in the little bin. I wish the garbage’s size could be a little different, because I have some challenges putting a regular 13 gallon garbage bag in the bin.

we\'ve been wanting a trash can for both recycle and trash, but the ones side by side are so small (6gallon at most on the majority??). this one was perfect, it fits our 13 gallon trash bags on top, it came with a smaller composite container, think thats the only thing i would make optional as we didn\'t need it. the bottom bins are small but enough to hold 2 regular bags (like grocery size ones). its enough for multiple cans and bottles though. decorated ours, so far no complaints.

I love this garbage bin. It made my kitchen much organized and efficient. Every part is well made. Perfectly made for its functions. It offers plenty storage space. With batteries, the lid open and close automatically which add to the overall convenience. The only thing I wish it had it the option of the base of legs, so we don’t need to physically move the can when mopping the floor.

1st, I truly love this! It’s made my kitchen much more organized and efficient. Every part is well made- perfectly designed for its function! As the photo above clearly shows, mine arrived with a small dent. This is a VERY expensive item so why am I giving it the full 5 stars? A year ago, I bought a similar large stainless bin and it arrived completely beaten up! Seriously, it looked like it had been hammered on every side. Had to return it. When this one arrived, its box was pristine. Inside, I must state that it was really well packed and protected. Huge and scary amounts of styrofoam! But, they couldn’t have done better work packaging this! So, either this small dent was there before packing or it’s just the nature of the beast to dent in transit— I’m NOT sending this one back! I’ve used it a week and I’m very pleased! Yes, I wish it didn’t come dented but maybe mine is a fluke— it’s still the best out there. Would recommend!

The opening and closing uses 6 AA batteries which is great. The can comes in an extremely well protected box with sturdy styrofoam. It is described well on the photos from the seller. I am very with this item. The only thing I wish it had is the option to have a base with legs so is easier to mop the floor without having to physically move it because it is a heavy garbage can.
