    Where is the drain for the Costway Window Unit? It's the 15000 BTU Energy Efficient Window Air Conditioner and its blowing some foaming water out the back of the AC through the back coils on the very lower end of it on the left side. The water is foamy and when I look inside it from the side panel area I see water sitting there and the fan is kind of picking it up and throwing it to the side and back. Is this normal? I see no drain on the bottom of it for water to go. I bought this unit 2 yrs ago, this June, and it's only ever run for 4 months per year, at total of only eight months. The inside coils also start freezing from the top down if it runs for 2 hrs. I cleaned the coils front and back twice with HVAC spray and the filter too. The filter light is now green yet it still freezes. Is this water coming out the back and the freezing up meaning that this AC is already failing on me? After only running for eight months? Thats a pretty expensive unit for only eight months use.

    The drain is located on the outside unit. The water that you are seeing is likely normal, as it drips onto the evaporator and is then evaporated away.
