06/12/2025I wasn’t expecting much from an ac, It’s smart so if you’re not home you can cool down the place and get home to a meat locker. The dehumidifier feature is awesome, I installed the tube that came with it and I never noticed how much humidity and how much water can come from my apt . I recommend this model honestly.

07/25/2023I got the 14,000 btu unit to cool my entire apartment which is about 750 square feet. It works like a champ. My only complaint is that the window kit does not have any kind of screen or vent flaps so rain/birds can get into the vent. I bent the hose so that the rain can’t get all the way in to the unit but it does not help with birds.

06/03/2023This portable air conditioner built with 4-in 1 functions, cooling, heater, humidifier and fan. We are feel that we could be comfortable for the whole year to have this machine. We try it as a heater lately, it warm our room fast,and can’t wait to use it others functions. Recommend!

05/28/2023Powerful ac Excellent super cold air relatively quiet . Shut off automatically when it reaches set temperature . 14000 btu power is strong enough to cool down very large space it has very easy to read and use Display panel. I most like about this ac that has multiple control opetion like remote . Phone app and LED desplay

05/09/2023It is really simple to put all the pieces together And it is so nice to have wheels that I can move around .This unit is working great! It replaced another unit that was noisy too.l've ever owned. As far as cooling,it works very well in the room where it's located. Definitely buy this unit if you're looking for a quality unit. it gets too cold I switch it to Fan andIcan sleep through the night with ease.

Costway representative - Q:Does this have energy saver mode or can turn it off amd on from an app remotelyA:This unit does not support app-based remote control. The ECO energy-saving mode can only be activated via the remote control, and there is no display indicator for this mode.

- Q:Does the AC have an evaporation function, so that it doesn't need to drain while operating?A:The unit does not have a fully self-evaporating function. While it can operate without a drainage hose in certain conditions, it will store water internally. Once the water reaches a certain level, the unit will automatically shut down, and you will need to drain the water manually. Therefore, it is recommended to connect a drain hose for continuous operation, especially in high humidity conditions.

If you directly unplug it and then power it on again, it will automatically start up. Please try this method to see if it resolves the issue. This item can be connected to the drain hose to use (drain hose is connected to the upper drain hole , if you want to use the lower drain hose to drain, you just need to tilt the machine), This item can also not be connected to the drain hose, once the water is filled, then the item will be automatically shutdown.
Costway representative - Q:Does this unit self evaporate or do you need to empty a drip pan?A:The unit does not self-evaporate automatically. It requires you to connect a drain hose for drainage. If the drain hose is not connected, the water will accumulate in the machine, and after a certain period, the machine will remind you to drain it manually.
- Q:I have three of these units, purchased a few years apart. Hearing and Cooling work great. Only issue is a clicking relay, contactor or reversing valve only in heat mode. Unit(s) will click about 5-10 times before starting. Any fix for this???
