Beast of a WiFi portable air conditioner/heater combo that was unexpectedly heavy and large
06/22/2023You wouldn't know it, but this thing is HEAVY. It actually took me by surprise by how large it is, but with a high-capacity BTU output, that should perhaps have been expected. My brother and I chipped in to buy this for our vacation home whose third floor gets about 20F hotter than the below two. We wanted something that could be used as an air conditioner, heater, AND be remotely controlled in case we forgot to turn it off after we've left. The single-pane windows will be replaced at some point and so we did not want to have a window AC unit installed. Furthermore, we also wanted one that could be moved around between the 3 bedrooms and living room. A portable one like this would or should satisfy all those requirements. PROS - Cooled VERY fast, but took a while for the large bedroom - Smart functionality for remote control over the Internet (so we could shut it off in case our departed guests left it running) - Simple installation - Relatively easy to move around the house - Timer function - Less expensive than name brands CONS - Heavy - Large - Heater took longer than the cooling functionality The AC worked without utilizing the air intake through the window, but it cools a lot faster with fresh, cooler air coming from the outside. A window kit was included. Heater would also benefit better if the cool air was blown out of the room via the window kit. Overall, we were happy with this unit.

06/16/2025I received this unit when it was still fairly cold in ND, so I was able to test the heating function before needing to use the air conditioning. It heated both my living room and dining room perfectly. Now I am using it for the summer, and it cools wonderfully.

Good investment for garage
06/10/2024We bought this last year in summers for our garage and it has been working fine for us. No issues so far. Dehumidifier and heater is a plus. Will use the heater in next winters.

05/24/2023Purchased this unit to put in our motorhome, so that our roof units don’t have to work so hard in the hot weather. It has done the trick, keeps our motorhome cold. We have recommended it to a few of our friends.
