Got tired of heavy raking the lawn in the fall to dethatch and the services i used didn’t do it to my satisfaction. This tool is the best. Works like a dream. The only negative was the small collection basket which filled rapidly.

The bagger is an absolute waste of time, full in less than 3’. Run the machine without the bagger, blow the yard or use a yard sweeper to collect the debris. I loaded two dump trailer loads and can’t be more happy with this product.

Bought this to dethatch my yard and prep for new grass seed. The dethatcher attachment works perfectly! One surprise was the blade attachment. We used this as a mini rototiller and was able to till the ground enough to create a causeway for water to flow away from my house. This machine is well built and worth every penny.

I used it to power rake (dethatch) my lawn in preparation for planting winter rye — green lawn all winter. The machine was easy to use and the result was excellent. My yard is 1/4 acre and it took me about 3 hours to do 2 passes (2nd pass was perpendicular to the 1st pass). Literally every seed germinated (planted mid-November in North Carolina). Did the same with my neighbor’s yard and also loaned it to a friend who did his yard. We have the only green lawns in the neighborhood. Well-built durable machine. Wish the bag were bigger. I tugged along a large wagon that I dumped all the thatch in, then periodically emptied the wagon. This machine pulls up huge amounts of thatch (200 lbs for my small yard).
