Easy to setup and super quite!
03/02/202312000 btu powerful enough for my bedroom. It is functional 4 in 1 which is great! Compared to the window AC, it's easier to setup. This is a portable AC and it has limitations but I love the all-in-one and the remote. Don't compare it to the central AC. But it's quiter than the window units. Don't expect it sounds nothing but it doesn't interfere too much with phone calls and chats. It is a good buy!

10/01/2022Instructions how to use all functions are clear and easy to understand. Calls really really quickly works very nicely. The window kid is great to some pop out my other brands comes with everything that you need. It’s very quiet weights considerably solid, and apparently uses less electricity to run. The big thing I like about this unit is the ease of insulation and works well and keeps everything looks TD. This unit has AC. Heat. Dehumidifier and fan. Kept the room cold in the summer now summer is over and the cold weather it is here. The building I live in haven’t turn on the heater and this just came in handy keep me warm these cold days. This is great for all four seasons.

Great machine with many features for year round.
09/30/2022Despite being somewhat larger than we anticipated, we adore this air conditioner. It quickly cools a room and takes little time to cool a small house. Although it is portable and easy to carry, you should be aware that it is substantial and robustly constructed. The fact that it has caster wheels on the bottom and two built-in handles on either side makes transporting it much easier because it is hefty. There are 4 modes on this particular unit: Cool, Dry, Fan, and Heat. Plus it has a remote control with it. With the fan mode you can use the unit without the vent. In the dry mode it acts like a dehumidifier. There is a window mount included in the package to make everything completed. It's super easy to mount and can do vertical or horizontal. The smart life app can also be added to Alexa service so I can use my Echo device for voice command. They don't really tell you how on the site but if you are techy enough, you can do it. If not, just google it and you will find it. Otherwise, using the remote controller would be easier for some people. To me, i use my phone all the times so it just makes sense for me to control it directly from the Smart Life app or Echo. Love it and it looks stylish too.

Works like a charm
04/15/2025So many good things to say. Easy set up. Cooks unbelievably well. I need a blanket sometimes because I think it cools below the set room temp to let the room warm up to it. Easy app and you can turn off the front display. Easy to maintain and clean so far.

04/13/2025This AC unit is unbelievably quiet and well made. I tried a few at this point and this one takes the cake. Whisper quiet with no rattling, blows out very cold.

- Q:How can I take out the upper air filter in the back?? It doesn’t come out when it’s pulledA:To remove the upper air filter in the back of the unit, please follow these steps: 1. Locate the position marked for pressing down on the filter. 2. While pressing down, gently pull the filter outwards.
Costway representative - Q:Does this unit need to be connected to, and using, an exhaust hose for heater mode? Or can you use the heater without having the exhaust hose hooked up to the window?A:Yes, the unit needs to be connected to and using an exhaust hose when in heater mode.
Costway representative - Q:In heating mode the exhaust hose has to be connected- But does it have to be vented outside? Can it be vented inside?A:Yes. In heating mode, the exhaust hose must be vented to the outside.
Costway representative - Q:Why does it feel like no heat is coming out when a heating modeA:When using the heating mode, if it feels like no heat is coming out, there are a few things to check. First, ensure that the four-way valve is activated by switching from cooling mode to heating mode and setting the temperature to around 30 degrees. You should hear a "click-click" sound when the valve activates. If you do not hear this sound, the four-way valve may not be functioning properly and may need to be replaced. Additionally, if the heating function is not working at all, it could be due to frequent mode switching. In this case, it is advisable to wait a day of inactivity before trying the heating function again. If the problem persists, the four-way valve may be broken, which would require professional repair.
