Nice and interesting pizza oven
06/22/2025Excellent pizza oven. This seems to be the first choice in my house and since both my kids have one I finally couldn't resist buying one. Both the wood and gas fired ones work as advertised. The wood fired oven can cook 4 people and is easy to keep an eye on; if there are more people I would go with the gas oven as it is easier to control the temperature. Highly recommend and should have bought one 5 years ago.
Well worth it
06/04/2025Love it!! The wood fired oven can be a little messier than I like. I bought a gas adapter to make it cleaner. It heats up very quickly and bakes a pizza in less than 2 minutes! Very well made and easy to finish. It's expensive but very sturdy and well made.
The oven is really good and affordable, but it requires some skills
02/21/2025really like this oven! I got it at a discount price of less than $100. I've only used it a few times so far and here's what I have to say about it: The construction and quality of the oven looks top notch. It looks very stylish and is very sturdy. It gets really hot! There is no thermometer on the unit and the first time I used it I preheated the oven for 15-20 minutes and checked the stone with an infrared thermometer and it showed a temperature of about 500-700 degrees, with higher temperatures closer to the burner. I didn't think much of it, but when I put a pizza in, the dough bounced right up and the pizza cooked quickly with a nice crust. Now you need to be careful. I put my first pie in while the fire was still going strong and the crust went right up on fire! The next time I turned it down to low before putting the pizza in and it worked much better, but the top of the crust still burns quickly if you're not careful. I think the ideal temperature is a combination of low and low, but it takes practice to find the perfect temperature. The only problem is that if you want to switch between low and low, you have to go through high first, so be quick. I'm still getting used to this oven and your experience may vary depending on the specifics of your pizza. All in all, this oven will give you the temperature you want, it just takes a little learning. I like it a lot, especially considering the price!
