My mom absolutely loves this thing. She has been asking me where I got it from. She no longer runs her central A/C. It saves so much money and cools the whole first story of the house

Decent AC that may not fit your window

This portable AC cools down a room, but could be better. The room I want to cool down is above a garage so it can get pretty hot. However, unless I set the AC to high, the room doesn’t cool down fast enough. My biggest issue though is that the window kit won’t fit your window that well if it’s between 27’’ and 38.5’’. 27’’ is from using one pane, while 38.5’’ is from using two panes at the shortest distance. You will either have to saw off the extra plastic or find a way to cover the gap that’s left opened.
