I bought it because I plan on giving it to my son for his birthday gift. I tried it out for a bit. It’s pretty fun and sounds great.

I really like this instrument. It is well made and has a nice tone. Very little tuning necessary after shipping. The only thing I wish were different is the texture of the paint. It becomes very difficult to play the instrument using your fingers. The texture is rough and grips your fingers for a split second causing the tone of the note to muffle. Playing with mallets the tone is super crisp. I would buy this again, if they offered a non textured surface.
