07/15/2024I bought this umbrella last year at the beginning of Summer. I also bought 2 smaller thatched umbrellas from another manufacturer at the same time. I am writing this review because I had to throw the other 2 umbrellas away this Summer as they basically disintegrated. This one has held up perfectly. I am very satisfied! I just ordered another one today to replace the one that I threw away.

08/19/2024Okay I won’t lie, I didn’t have super high hopes for this because the price was very reasonable. However when I got it, I was shocked at how good the quality is! It’s been through lots of storms, it sits outside our deck of the pool, and nothing has made it fall apart in any way. The lights are perfect for a late night pool party or for a nice tropical bar. Super easy to set up, water resistant, and works like a charm. If you’re questioning if you should buy it for your pool or outdoor bar, just do it, you won’t regret it!

- Q:My husband purchased the Hawaiian style straw umbrella with solar lights on December 20th I believe for me for Christmas. We opened it yesterday to set it up and there wasn't a solar piece in the box that goes on the top of the umbrella. How can I get this piece? Yes we checked the box and no solar disk that goes on the top of the umbrella. With that being said the lights won't work. Please let me know how I can get this key piece for my umbrella. - Q:Good morning, I just received this 10' thatched umbrella as a birthday gift from my daughter. I set it up last Thursday. Unfortunately the lights are not working, We left it for a couple days incase the solar needed a certain charge. I just checked again and still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? How can this be corrected. Wayne Tillsonburg, OntarioA:Hi. Please follow these steps to check. 1. check whether the film on the solar panel is torn off;
2. check that the connecting cable between the solar panel and the umbrella is plugged in;
3. check that there is enough light time during the day and that the switch is charging in the closed state;
4. finally check that the switch is open when used at night Fully charged in the sun A new umbrella light time can reach about 4H, will be gradually weakened with the passage of time storage capacity, the later light time will become shorter, and the light will become dim. *If you still can't solve it, please forward your question or concern as well as the order number to our customer support at service@costway.com.
