1.6 Gallon Fruit Wine Press Cider Juice Maker Tool

This press is so great that we bought 1 for us and one for my sister-in-law. The juice that flows out is pure juice without the messy, pulp-filled stuff we were getting with the strainer & pestle method. Plus, it is a lot less work. Turn the screw to compress, get the flow going then walk away for about 10 minutes. Come back and repeat the process. We highly recommend the model as it was suggested by a friend who makes his own muscadine wine. If you want to make wine, jams or jellies get this tool- you'll be thankful!

Love, love, love this product! Helped me process my six apple trees into apple juice. Just make sure to process early in the morning so you can hose everything off and it can dry out in the sun. We got enough spacer blocks to adequately press everything. Make sure to buy food-grade oil or petroleum jelly so that it doesn't rust! We attach ours to a pallet which gave it the height needed to put a large jug underneath to catch the apple juice.

This press works fine, we pressed grapes and apples. I cut an extra piece of wood to fit inside at the bottom so the slatted cage doesn't move around. One iron bar is ok, but I used two more for ease of turning. You'll have to replace the mesh bag fairly soon, it's not robust. All in all for the money, it's a reasonable starter press. I'm pleased with it.

I have just finished 10 pressings of apple cider with this press. I give it a 4.75/5.0.Per the reviews on this press, I did two things before using it. First, I cut two extra oak 2x4’s spacer boards to fit. Next, I anchored the base to a wide board. I you don’t do these two things, you will be disappointed.Yes there was some minor paint chipping on the press nut after some use. Also my pressing bag held up well after 10 uses. It is a good idea to have a spare bag.This press is perfect for those processing 5-20 gallons of juice.MMm, this cider tastes great!

The press works fine, is easy to put together, and to clean. I gave it an almost with the ease of use because it gets VERY hard to turn when the apples get low. Made great juice though and my daughter is using it to teach a "Prairie" class at school. Seems a good value for the money too.
