Extremely simple and easy to assemble. All tools needed were included (an Allen wrench). Very sturdy. Beautifully finished. I particularly like the curves that were not apparent in the pictures. We have it as a window seat in our bedroom. It would fit just as well outside on a porch, in the garden, or under the trees. Very pleased with the bench.

Nice, solid piece of furniture. Had a couple of issues otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars: one of the nuts was stripped so we couldn’t put in all of the bolts (but there quite a few) and it had a couple of dents (these weren’t from shipping because the box was in tact—-and we were able to hide the dings with some furniture wax).
