These chairs look beautiful and are a great value. Easy to put together.

These stools are lovely and arrived well-packaged and in a timely manner. At first, I thought that the package containing all of the hardware had been left out, but it was taped to the inside of the other end of the box. It was nice that they included a package that contained extra screws and hardware. I didn\'t need them, but it was appreciated. The only trouble I had assembling the stools was inserting the chair back (scrolled portion) into the horizontal seat portion. Because they are metal, there was no \"give.\" I didn\'t have a rubber mallet, so I created one by wrapping an old washcloth around a hammer several times. I was able to knock the piece into the hole. It was tough going for me! I thought I wasn\'t going to be able to do it, but I did. I\'m sure my brother could have handled it much more easily than I did. The padded seat was a bit darker in color than it appeared on screen. When I first took it out of the box, I thought it was black. It\'s not; it\'s just a very dark brown. The metal is black, which is what I wanted. On the bottom of the padded seat, the holes didn\'t quite match up with the holes of the corresponding frame, but still I could easily insert the screws. The only thing I needed that wasn\'t included was a Phillips head screwdriver. A rubber mallet would have been nice, too, but I improvised. On average, it took me about an hour to assemble each stool. That\'s probably longer than it would take most people, I would imagine. I love that these stools are adjustable! Unfortunately, the counter height is too short and the bar height is too tall for me to comfortably sit at the sofa console table I bought that I planned to use as a work table. But, that\'s no fault of the stools. They do look very nice behind it, though. I would recommend these stools. They are tasteful, adjustable, sturdy, affordable, and easy for one person to assemble. I didn\'t want to buy anything too expensive, because I have cats. They are \"forbidden\" to get on the stools, but cats will be cats. I can always replace the padded seats.

These chairs are a great price, easy to put together and look more expensive than they cost! They swivel and are very sturdy, no rocking in the legs. I would definitely buy again. We are using them in our 5th wheel for the bar height table. love them!
