Heavy, keeps umbrella in place.

The tube which holds the umbrella was a few inches too tall to fit under the patio table and had to be cut down. Very heavy steel took a lot of effort to cut. I will say it is very well made!!

Attached our patio umbrella to it, tightened the knob, and done. Umbrella held up nicely and did not tip over in moderate wind.

Not a good buy.

It is pleasantly larger than I expected and very heavy. It is a pretty windy day today but the umbrella was held in place. Our last base let the umbrella flip the table over. We haven’t put out the patio table yet but for now I can use it with my chair. I love the look of it as well. It’s a sturdy and pretty base.

Luckily i purchased this umbrella base a few weeks ago, as today there are heavy rains and I was able to set up my new umbrella up to provide cover for my new grafted fruit trees (which cannot get wet else it would ruin the grafting joints and the grafting won't take). This base is pretty heavy and it was able to hold my umbrella under the heavy rain and withstood some gust winds. Setting it up was super easy, only took me a few minutes to tightened the base with the support pole without any extra tools, just in time for the rain.

The base of this Patio Market umbrella is heavy and it can firmly hold my dining table and umbrella on the deck. I am happy that there is no need to fill up with water or sand, beautiful designs and good color. This is worth it!

I ordered this to use as a base for a dining table outside. It’s hard to find them this time of year and we’ve actually had some pretty days and which we have been able to spend some time outside, and I just happened to notice that I was one short. Of course it’s impossible to find these in local stores this time of year and I knew if I didn’t go ahead and get one, I would miss my window or forget. When I was able to find one at a lower cost than I would expect of this quality, it was a win-win and no brainer to go ahead. These things are super heavy by design, and this one is no exception. It arrives in several pieces, but assembly took no more than five minutes. The pole has pieces that stabilizer umbrella so it does not move around inside the pole which is an important feature. In preparation for the upcoming patio season, I wanted an umbrella stand for my patio table. I was looking for something which is attractive, durable and will provide good stability. This umbrella stand ticks all those boxes for me.

Finally I got this this sturdy pretty base for my patio umbrella. No more scratches on my new pavers and no more worries when hurricane season is approaching. It matches perfectly, a very good size for the table. I also favor the pattern it has.

This umbrella base is strong and sturdy, great for my big patio umbrella. The base is heavy and can hold pretty heavy umbrellas. It is adjustable of width for any sized umbrella. Very convenient and useful for my outside patio.

Love my new umbrella base ,very strong and is a good quality product. More than heavy enough to hold down my 10' patio umbrella even in heavy winds (make sure you close your umbrella folks!).

I bought this for my backyard and it’s pretty heavy. I live in Vegas and it survived high winds last night. It was still standing upright in the morning. I’m happy with the quality and weight of this base.
